Leah Lubin is an author and artist.  Born in Haifa, Israel in 1951, she moved to England when she was six years old.  By the time she was 14, she knew that she wanted to be an artist, and at the age of 17, she enrolled in the Barnet College of Art, part of the London University system.  She moved to the United States in 1979, and became an American citizen in 1986.  Leah now makes her home in Santa Cruz California.

Her paintings and drawings reflect shapes and forms, abstract, figurative and realistic, that she finds in nature on Earth and in the cosmos.  Leah uses these elements as a springboard into her philosophy of visionary art and literature.  The work reflects her interest in seeing beyond our normal vision into the metaphysical aspect of the universe.  Leah expresses her ideas of current and future interactions of conscious and unconscious energy and the human life.

Leah has written a novel, Between Two Worlds, about other worlds and realities, and also eight poetry books.  Her paintings and drawings are used to complement the text in conveying the theme.
