My lifelong passions, photography and nature have come together as I work on open space and conservation issues. Birds are my primary focus
but I have recently expanded my interest in landscape photography. Many photos are strictly for beauty and appreciation, but I also may spend
many months documenting birds to learn more about them. This also helps me when I wear my other hat “conservation officer” for the Santa Cruz Bird Club.
These local landscape images are a result of wanting to finally capture those very places, where I stand for hours and hours admiring birds. Most of these images can be ordered in different sizes or mediums but I love how they look on aluminum which can also be hung outside. They look terrific in a garden, on a covered porch. They can handle rain or snow but don’t do well with sun exposure.
Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or interest in seeing more of my collections or series.
I look forward to hearing from you or better yet, please stop in at my open studio in the fall of 2015.
