At the core of my being I am easy going, thoughtful and introspective. I love people and try to remain unbiased in order to understand every single one of them. But after all that, I am a travel photographer. I love to travel to understand the world around me as well as to fuel my adventurous spirit.
I am 24 years old, and have been photographing for the past 4 years. My photography is mixture of visual art and journalism. I am mainly focused on portraits because the meaning you can ascribe to the character in a persons face is invaluable. However, I do love to photograph beautiful places as well, because I also think that a person’s characteristics are directly associated with their environments. I am absolutely fascinated with everyone’s different realities, and the many cultures around the world that are still trying to preserve their traditions. I believe it is important to document the present state of humanity and the world in some way. Right now my focus is on Asia, mostly Southeast Asia and India.
I like to keep grounded, and maintain this passion that we all withhold. Each of our outlooks and opinions are important. They’re all different, different than the last and future generations. It is our duty to live it up – share our ideas and passions. All that we think is unique in the world, all that we are. To hone in on that and create reflections of yourself within those passions is beautiful and should be embraced.
